2007 Opti - DN Junior North Americans

December 8th, 2007 - The long-anticipated Junior event was originally planned to take place in Minnesota, but mother nature hurled a snow storm through most of the region.  Oddly enough right here in our area, Wamplers Lake, in the Irish Hills of South-East Michigan was the best ice around.

There was plenty of room for the Opti-Course, and a little room for the big DN's to cruise around as well.

The Optis had 12 boats total??  and sailed 7 races???   Racing was called of Sunday due to freezing rain.  Awards were given out Sunday morning at the hotel.  **This Article is not finished at this time, but enjoy the pictures.
