10 Meter Ice Boat

Once a common stern-steerer.  This boats popularity gave way to the DN class ice boat years ago.  Unlike the larger 15 Meter, this boat uses a hull instead of spars for a fuselage.  Currently, TIYC member Bill Jockett is building one using plans he found in an old magazine and advice from several present and former 10 meter sailors and whatever old hardware he can get a hold of.  You can see photos of his construction so far at: http://www.classiclyman.com/10meter_iceboat.htm
