The North Wind

Built 1931

Saturday November 27, 2005 - With the help of several friends, TIYC member Bill Jockett took delivery of the North Wind.  Very similar to a 15-meter, this boat is a bit larger at 32 feet in length and has a main and a jib.

February, 2006 - The northwind has a new backbone nearly ready for hardware to be installed.  The cockpit is also under construction.  The woodwork boasts mahogany and spruce in contrasting colors.

This page will be update from time to time as more information on its history, old photos, and restoration updates are made available.  We need any information, photos, etc.  that is available about the history of this boat.  Please email: tiycmail@tiyc.net  if you have any information to share.
