February 28 Sand Lake The wind played games with us all day as the crust on the top of the ice slowly softened up. No Gloves needed and sweatshirts were more comfortable than jackets. We were able to get lots of good rides here and there, but there was never enough consistent wind to get off so much as a scrub race. There was one sailor spotted traveling at high rates of speed at one point wearing nothing but boxer shorts, shoes, gloves and a helmet. The rest of us considered this go-fast trick, but soon saw him stall out too. Nice turn-out and a few new faces there too.
