Directions to Maumee Bay (125th Street Public Access)

NOTE:  This is a residential street with limited parking.  Please Remove your vehicle from the turnaround area promptly after loading/unloading.  There is street parking available down the road and around the park.    TIYC provides a ramp at the 125th St. Launch site (Currently not in place).  Several Members are property owners along the bay shore.  If you  know one of them I suggest contacting them to see if you can get permission to use their ramp (if they have room).  All sites have parking problems, but we try to keep the 125th Street Site open to our visitors.

 From I-75 North Bound:  Get off at Ottawa River Rd and go straight through the intersection and follow the winding road along the river.  eventually the road turns into 124th street and you will come to a traffic light (at Summit Street) where there is a Mc Donald's.  Go straight.  The road will bend next to the park after the tennis courts.  Follow that Left then take an immediate right on 125th Street.  Follow to the dead-end.

From I-75 South Bound:  Get off at the last exit in Michigan (Summit Street)  WATCH YOUR SPEED!  Its 45 there and they patrol heavy until you reach the border.  Follow summit over the bridge and take a left at the traffic light by the Mc Donald's.  Go straight.  The road will bend next to the park after the tennis courts.  Follow that Left then take an immediate right on 125th Street.  Head on down to the dead-end.
