MAUMEE BAY MARCH 3-4, 2007

A pleasant surprise - we have sailable ice!  Not super smooth, and has some crusty snow on it, but still good enough to race on.  The wind was just a bit more than we needed, but it didnt seem to stop anybody.

CARNAGE!  There were numerous wipeouts, blowouts, and spinouts to make for an exciting weekend.  Most of the skimmer fleet has busted its welds,  All told, we have about 6 new contestants for the "Bomb Award"  just this weekend.  This has to be some sort of record.

Thanks to Amanda and Bobby Foeller and Harold Hoffman for taking Photos

You cant do it right unless you use every clamp and weight available.
